Do you provide training in Spanish and English?
The website and core program structure are designed for bilingual delivery. Individual course availability may vary by instructor and cohort.
Does Academy completion guarantee a job?
No. Academy completion can support readiness and eligibility for referral, but employment decisions remain with each employer.
Does the Academy issue OSHA 10/30 cards?
Only OSHA-authorized Outreach trainers/providers can issue OSHA Outreach cards. The Academy may coordinate an authorized pathway when offered.
Do you respond to unattended deaths and decomposition?
The Services Division may provide cleanup and remediation after the scene has been released by the appropriate authority and the work is within authorized scope.
Can you remove medical or regulated waste?
Waste handling, transport and disposal must follow applicable requirements. Authorized vendors may be used when required.
Do you serve all of Puerto Rico?
The operating model is designed for island-wide coverage, subject to crew availability, travel conditions, service scope and applicable authorizations.
Can I enroll with no prior experience?
Yes. Entry-level pathways can begin with orientation and foundational safety concepts before advancing to practical material.
Are Academy certificates professional licenses?
No. Academy certificates document completion of Academy coursework. They do not replace licenses, cards or credentials issued by outside authorities or organizations.
Can employers request candidates?
Yes. Employers can describe role, location, schedule, minimum qualifications and hiring timeline so the Network can assess whether suitable participants are available.
Does the Employment Network charge or guarantee placement?
Program terms may vary, but no participant should interpret Network involvement as a guarantee of placement, wage, schedule or employer acceptance.
What should I do before requesting cleanup of an active crime scene?
Do not enter or disturb an active scene. Wait for law enforcement or the appropriate authority to release the location before requesting remediation.
Is emergency service always available 24/7?
Emergency intake may be offered 24/7 depending on dispatch capacity. Actual response time depends on location, crew availability, travel conditions and scope.
